The Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX2 is a 2-channel all-in-one DJ controller for rekordbox with many features and design elements from the flagship NXS2 setup. Succeeding the popular XDJ-RX, the XDJ-RX2 features a 7″ touchscreen in the middle above the mixer section, and other features from the CDJ-2000NXS2. The rekordbox DJ system furthermore features eight large multi-colour performance pads per deck and offers professional mixing with the layout and performance features of the DJM-900NXS2.Other features such as link export for rekordbox with dedicated USB connection , two mic inputs , one aux input , two line/phono inputs and two USB type A connectors on the top complete the features of the DJ XDJ-RX2.
Since the introduction of rekordbox 6.0 in April 2020, there have been a number of new features as well as a new subscription system with the three models Free (free), Core and Creative (paid subscription – not included). The Pioneer DJ – XDJ-RX2 acts as a hardware unlock device and activates the Performance Mode without having to subscribe to a paid plan. 7″ touch screen and more features
The 7″ touchscreen displays detailed track information plus sync status and waveforms from both decks. Wave zoom allows you to see the current output position more precisely. Other features include a large rotary selector , needle search , track filter and short cut , just like the CDJ-2000NXS2. In addition, there is the fade-in QWERTY keyboard on the display with which you can quickly find your tracks.
Layout and performance features
The DJ XDJ-RX2 delivers EQs and channel faders that use the same curves as the DJM-900NXS2. And with Sound Color FX and Beat FX , which also come from the club mixer, you can make your mixes more creative.
Multi-colour Performance Pads
Eight large multi-colour performance pads per deckwith access to popular features such as hot cues , beat jump , beat loop and slip loop , give you the freedom to be even more creative in your performances. In addition, up to eight hot cues can be stored in each deck.
USB connection and export for rekordbox
With Pioneer’s music management software rekordbox , you can prepare your tracks for performances on a PC or Mac by having the BPM analysed and setting hot cues and loops . Thanks to the USB connection on the back and the Link Export mode, you can connect your laptop to the DJ system and play your tracks instantly without having to export them to a USB storage device.
